Nasal and paranasal sinus surgery

Obstructed nasal breathing often leads to sore throats and sleep disorders. This significantly reduces the quality of life. However, an ear, nose and throat examination is also often necessary in the case of chronic inflammation of the sinuses, recurrent nosebleeds and olfactory disorders.
If drug therapy has not shown any improvement, we can often achieve decisive relief or healing with surgical measures.

To determine the cause of the disease, we use the latest endoscopic techniques and supplement these – if medically necessary – with computer-aided measurement of nasal flow.

If surgery of the paranasal sinuses is necessary, a computer tomography is performed. Computed tomography of the paranasal sinuses enables the ear, nose and throat specialist to make a precise assessment of the bony structures. The positional relationship of the paranasal sinuses to the base of the skull and the assessment of whether anatomical variants are present are also important information that must be clarified before the operation.

The operation can also be performed in combination with aesthetic surgery. Aesthetic operations are self-pay services that may not be charged to health insurance.
